19-21 August, the 11th edition of the annual blu26 fleet race battle Engadin has again been welcomed in St. Moritz. For many, a must-attend event on their sailing agenda. The line-up included teams of top sailors, promising three exciting racing days. Indeed, the very volatile wind conditions kept even the best sailors on their toes - across 37 races in total.
A sunny and warm May weekend welcomed the presence of 11 crews to the blu26 Cup Zug, hosted by the Yacht Club Zug. On Saturday the regatta kicked off with great racing benefitting of a constant breeze, allowing for 3 exciting runs in the Walchwil area.
The Danish team wins the blu26 Bayern Cup 2021. After previous second and third places, the crew with skipper Soeren Laugesen have made it to the outstanding first place. Last weekend, 12 sailing teams from Germany, Switzerland and Denmark met at the starting line and competed in 9 exciting races over two days. In the end, the victory goes to Denmark.
